Scientific Name: Tilia americana
A large, fast-growing shade tree with dense foliage that will help calm the surrounding winds. In early to mid-summer small yellow to white flowers cover the tree and provide a great nectar source for many of our local pollinators. The small fruits form in late October and provide an important food source for many of our overwintering woodland creatures.
