Scientific Name: Cladrastis kentukea
A medium-sized tree that has white pea-shaped flower clusters appearing in late May to early June. The tree will begin blooming once it reaches a height of 12 to 18 feet, and the flowers will bloom heavily on alternating years or every third year. With its deep root system, you can plant native shade perennials underneath its canopy with ease.
