Serviceberry is a relatively small tree with showy white flowers in the spring and attractive foliage in the fall. The spring flowers of the Serviceberry provide an important food source for many of our early- season pollinators. In mid-summer, it produces edible berries that taste like a mild blueberry with little almond flavored seeds in the middle. These berries are also enjoyed by many bird species, adding another colorful dimension to your landscape as they fly about.
